- I will finance my travel to and from Karei Deshe youth hostel by myself. In addition, I will pay the participation fee to the Kinneret Regional Project by the 10.5.2008 – otherwise my participation will be cancelled immediately.
- I accept the following conditions in case I withdraw my participation after 10.5.2008 (note that some travel insurances may cover costs resulting from a withdrawal):
- Until 1.6.2008: 80% of the participation fee
is refunded.
- Until 1.7.2008: 50% of the participation fee
is refunded.
- After 1.7.2008: No refunds will be given.
- I am willing to execute the tasks I am directed to during the excavation and follow the rules of the excavations and the Karei Deshe youth hostel.
- The directorate of the excavation is not responsible for any physical harm or material damage caused during the excavations. I am solely responsible to be sufficiently insured against any accidents, thefts, illnesses, terrorism, passive war and third party liability etc. during my entire stay at the excavation site and in Israel. I am also aware of the political situation in Israel. Some areas can be very unsafe to travel to. Private trips inside Israel are possible only before and after the excavations. In any case, they are not recommended. During the excavations, afternoon trips to Tiberias or the immediate surroundings of Kinneret are allowed, if the work permits and the excavation directors have given their explicit consent.
- I declare to the best of my knowledge that I am physically and mentally in good health. I do not suffer from any chronic or infectious disease. I have a valid vaccination against Tetanus.
- I am aware that an archaeological excavation is not a holiday and that it means hard physical labor in very warm conditions.
- Without the explicit permission of the directors of the excavations, I will not publish or submit – electronically or in print – any scientific or otherwise classified information about the finds or the results reached during the excavations (including photographs).
